Superhero DJ Jon Quick, who currently can be heard every Friday and Saturday night in NYC on 94.7 The Block, is not only one of NYC’s most popular club DJs but he is also the creator, co-host and music curator/mixmaster of The AfroFlava Radio Top Ten Afrobeat Countdown. This is the only afrobeat hybrid countdown/mixshow in the USA, initially heard  Fridays on 107.5 WBLS and now heard every Friday at 7pm on Scratchvision. He also is the creator of Atlanta's top urban radio mixshow, "Superhero Saturdays", heard every Saturday 7-9pm, on Majic 107.5/97.5. 

Jon has also spun for a “who’s who” of celebrity clientele such as Beyoncé, AJ Calloway, Jay Z, Jerome Bettis, Vanessa Williams and Michael Strahan just to name a few. For over 8 years he was one of several top DJs once featured in rotation on “The Mix at Six” on 107.5 WBLS. He’s made appearances On Fox 5-NY “Good Morning NY”, SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning” (twice) and was also featured for over a year on Music Choice’s TV “Mixtape” and “Throwback Jams” cable channels. 

 

Jon is an award winning DJ whose mastery of the R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, House, Reggae, Soca and Afrobeat genres have had him play at some of the most legendary clubs not only in NYC but all over the nation. He's also played in Giants Stadium, Citifield and Nassau Coliseum for various concerts.

Past clients include Visa, BET, Viacom, Dark & Lovely, Def Jam, Columbia Records, Pepsi, BMW, Lexus, Black Enterprise, The United Way, Gatorade, LinkedIn, The United Council of Negro Women, Uptown Magazine, American Express, Dusse,’ Hennessy, The Lion King on Broadway and the NFL.
