HONOREES

Founded in 2010 by NYC club legend DJ Jon Quick of 94.7 The Block, this awards show/party has two purposes. 1. to honor phenomenal women of color who through hard work have become undeniable shooting stars in their respective industries while remaining inspirational role models in their communities and 2. to raise money for worthy charities/causes.

Past honorees include actress Vanessa Williams, super publicist Yvette Schure-Noel, Black Girls Rock! Founder and CEO, Beverly Bond, actress Simone Missick (All Rise), WBLS and SiriusXM’s Deja Vu, actress Rochelle Aytes, Al Jazeera News Anchor Richelle Carey, the Honorable Judge Shawndya Simpson, radio/tv/choreographer Big Lez, international supermodel Maya Haile, BET’s “Grand Hustle”winner Krystal Garner and celebrity publicist Yvette Davis-Gayle.
